Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 3 tablespoons Steepers Only Slumber Party tea, steeped and cooled

For the Sugar Cookies:
Mix Wet Ingredients: Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a medium-sized bowl.
Add Dry Ingredients: Mix in baking powder and salt. Gradually stir in flour, about 1/2 cup at a time.
Chill Dough: Cover bowl and chill the dough in the fridge for 3 hours.
Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 400°F. Flour your work surface. Roll out chilled dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut and Bake: Cut shapes with a cookie cutter. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Cool before icing.
For the Tea Icing:
Make Icing: In a small bowl, mix confectioners sugar with cooled tea until it reaches a nice icing consistency. Use a pastry brush or spoon to apply. Add more sugar and tea as needed for desired thickness.
