Pierre Thiam, Yolélé

Pierre Thiam is a Senegalese chef, restaurateur, award-winning cookbook author, entrepreneur, and environmental activist – best known for bringing West African cuisine to the global culinary stage.

He is the executive chef and co-founder of Teranga restaurants with locations Harlem & Midtown Manhattan and also the Executive Chef of the award-winning restaurant Nok by Alara in Lagos, Nigeria.
