This cake kit makes a very sticky carrot cake that is gently spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. The Caker's founder Jordan chose to put Zante currants in this kit recipe because she loves the sweet yet tart bursts they add to each bite. Of course, cream cheese icing is an absolute classic with carrot cake, and to top everything off, it doesn’t get better than salted caramel!
Enjoy it as a quick and easy dessert option or gift it to friends and family.

Jordan Rondel, The Caker
Jordan Rondel, aka The Caker, is a celebrity baker hailing from New Zealand who has a line of luxury cake kits and recipe books! Jordan grew up in Auckland but her obsession for baking was born while spending holidays in Paris with her grandparents.
Being a completely self-taught baker meant she had the freedom to bend the rules and push the boundaries, and she developed her own unique style of cakes in her home kitchen.
In 2010, when she was 21, she made a life-changing decision to turn her passion into a career and officially became The Caker. She built a made-to-order cake business selling home-made style cakes that "taste even better than they look." She is known for super moist, fudgy cakes that are bursting with flavor and decorating with fresh flowers.
Jordan quickly became the go-to baker in Auckland, had several published books under her belt and was garnering an international following, but she wanted more; she wanted to provide great cakes to an even wider audience. She began developing a line of luxury make-at-home cake kits with her ex-lawyer sister, Anouk, and in 2020, she expanded operations into the USA to bring her wonderful cakes to lucky American home-bakers.
