Linda Levinson, Big.Fat.Cookie

Linda grew baking alongside my mother and grandmother, making things like coffee cake, jelly cookies and banana bread, Although baking was a passion, Linda followed a different creative career path. Not having a plan after graduation, her parents encouraged her to explore expanding the jewelry business she started in high school.

When that closed in 2015, her creativity turned to cookies. After hundreds of batches, tastings, failures and thousands of calories consumed, big.fat.cookie was born. Big.fat.cookies are made in very small batches with the greatest attention to every single detail, with the same craftsmanship, enthusiasm and creativity that Linda brought to her jewelry since 1986. They hand form and weigh each dough ball adding individual chocolate chips to make sure the finished product is the correct weight and looks perfect. After baking, each cookie is individually wrapped and marked by hand with the flavor on the back. These cookies are Chicago born and baked.
