Founder Yvonne Ochieng comes from a family of tea growers in the central highlands of Kenya, and sharing her culture with you one teacup at a time is the inspiration behind LEAFBERRI's signature teas. LEAFBERRI's award-winning Kenyan tea is grown utilizing organic farming practices in rich volcanic soils along the equator. Their teas are handpicked with only the finest top two leaves and the bud used for tea production. Kenyan tea is considered some of the tea in the world because of its distinctive taste, quality and characteristics.
LEAFBERRI was created not only to capture the added value of premium specialty tea for that consumer seeking a tea product that is pure, natural and packed with healthy attributes, but to help boost that small scale farmer in Kenya who will use the proceeds to provide the basic necessities for their families and create a sustainable livelihood.
