Melissa Yen, Jo Snow Syrups
Melissa Yen started making syrups when she co-owned Vella Cafe. She was bored of the flavors available for the cafe's lattes & obsessed with Cafe de Olla. She wanted to figure out how to bring those flavors to her customers, but in way that could work with the morning rush, so she created a syrup. After the cafe was sold in 2010, Melissa launched Jo Snow Syrups with a line of six syrups for coffee, cocktails, sodas & snow cones.
