After nearly a decade of industry experience working as an R&D Chef for the Frontera family and engaging with local producers and other Chefs at Local Foods, Chef Renee Ragin opened Kite String Cantina with her partner, Andrew. What started as a quirky neighbourhood bar that served homemade taquitos, blossomed into a local food market and weekly meal kit, all with an emphasis on midwestern produced, sustainably sourced and delicious foods.
They believe good food should be enjoyed by everyone and should not come at the cost of flavor, which is why they make good food for saucy people!
