Red Jade is a red tea made by tea farmer and producer Chen Yong Qiang, from Meizhou, Guangdong, China. A red tea is what is known as black tea in the west. Chinese have always called it red tea for its red tea liquor and as a result of leaves turning red after being steeped with water. Its flavor profile is baked sweet potatoes and molasses; people often say it reminds them of the staple Thanksgiving dish sweet potato casserole.
