Meet Enlightened, Beatrix Coffee Roasters’ signature medium-roast blend and quite possibly your new perfect cup. Honduran and Colombian beans come together with smooth notes of milk chocolate, a bright pop of orange citrus and a rich cocoa aroma. Balanced, approachable and endlessly drinkable, it shines whether brewed as drip coffee, a pour-over or French press.

In the summer of 2013, we opened Beatrix, a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. We established a culinary culture rooted in working with local vendors and ingredients and partnered with several iconic Chicago roasters to earn a loyal following for our innovative coffee menu. We created a roast that we consider to be the perfect cup of coffee – a smooth, low acid brew that may be enjoyed black or with a splash of your favorite milk. From there, Enlightened, our signature blend, was born. Our coffee portfolio now features Medium, Dark, Espresso, Decaf, and seasonal roasts, and it is our continued goal to bring great tasting, quality coffee to your neighborhood.
