Meet Emboldened, a full-bodied dark roast that lives up to its name. Brazilian and Colombian beans create a rich, satisfying cup layered with dried fig, ripe berries and bittersweet chocolate, finished with a comforting cocoa aroma. Bold yet balanced with gentle acidity, it’s delicious brewed hot or served as a smooth cold brew.

In the summer of 2013, we opened Beatrix, a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. We established a culinary culture rooted in working with local vendors and ingredients and partnered with several iconic Chicago roasters to earn a loyal following for our innovative coffee menu. We created a roast that we consider to be the perfect cup of coffee – a smooth, low acid brew that may be enjoyed black or with a splash of your favorite milk. From there, Enlightened, our signature blend, was born. Our coffee portfolio now features Medium, Dark, Espresso, Decaf, and seasonal roasts, and it is our continued goal to bring great tasting, quality coffee to your neighborhood.
