Mamita Hot Sauce

Mamita Hot Sauce is a gourmet habanero and turmeric hot sauce, the only sauce on the market combining both. The recipe comes from founder Gwendolyn Stephenson's father's family; her father and grandfather worked at the Panama Canal for over 30 years, a core part of the brand's heritage. The original recipe was lost around 2004, and years later Gwen began reconstructing it, working closely with her mom ("Mamita") to recreate it, testing six batches until the final version was perfect. Made with organic ingredients and manufactured in the United States, Mamita Hot Sauce blends real heat with Afro-Caribbean and Panamanian roots, real heat, real heritage, no heartburn. The brand is already established in Panamanian supermarkets and is now expanding into the U.S. market.
