Amy and John Cawrse, Ava Jane's Kitchen
Amy and John Cawrse (pronounced “coarse”) are the founders of Ava Jane’s Kitchen, a health food company that they named after their daughter, Ava Jane.
Their mission is to bring the best-tasting foods on planet Earth to kitchens everywhere. Their journey has brought them to amazing places all over the world. While traveling, they always have their eyes out for the most amazing, delicious foods to bring back and share with the world.
Before all their travel started, they were just a normal couple with a passion for amazing food. They had no clue this whole “microplastics in your salt” problem existed. A few years ago, they discovered hand-harvested sea salt produced by local entrepreneurs called “salineros” (salt-farmers). After successfully bringing the pure and flavorful salt to America, their purpose became clear: they would spend their days searching for even more hidden gastronomical treasures, and share the joy of the most unusually delicious, nutritious and wholesome food Mother Earth has to offer.
