Heray Infused Saffron Oil is an aromatic oil infused with naturally grown and hand harvested Afghani Saffron by Heray Farmers Co-op in Herat, Afghanistan. Its elegant flavor makes a perfect addition for both savory and sweet plates. It can be used in multiple cuisines be it Spanish Tapas, Mediterranean, South Asian, French, Italians, and more.

Use it as a topping on your hummus plates, roasted veggies, or meats. It can even be used on the skin as an anti-aging, anti-inflammatory beauty remedy.

Having grown up in a farming family in western Afghanistan, Mohammad Salehi’s choice to sell Afghani saffron and other spices was a natural one. However, his journey to get to this point may surprise you.

After graduating high school in Afghanistan, he embarked on a career as a cultural advisor for the United Nations in 2009. In 2013, he decided to immigrate to Chicago where he founded Heray Spice. Among many other accomplishments, he was granted the honor of being a member of the inaugural Eater New Guard class—an award given to culinary workers who make positive contributions to their communities.

Shipping fees start at $7.99 (up to $9.99) and will calculated upon check-out. Shipping is free for eligible orders over $50.
