Date Kleicha is a pastry dough filled with date paste and flavored with Cardamom. It has no added sugar, is low fat, and it's nut-free. It makes for a wonderful snack or a satisfying sweet to serve to family or guests.
It can be consumed warm by heating it in an oven or toaster (recommended) or at room temperature. If you wish to have it with a drink, Shehed Bakery recommends pairing Date Kleicha with hot tea, but feel free to get creative and try it with other drinks!
