Murassa grew up eating ghee and as a professional who did not have time to make ghee, she often had to purchase it from among grocery store brands. After trying many brands and discovering that none provided the same great tasting ghee she was used to consuming at home when growing up, Murassa decided to start making her own. She started making it for herself first and then for friends and family which led to eventually of sharing it with more people via farmers markets and now via Here Here Market!
Most ghees in the supermarket are made with imported, lower quality butter. Gai Ghee is made with quality, locally available organic butter. Gai Ghee churns butter in-house and make the ghee from scratch resulting in a high nutrition profile and great taste.
