Alex Williams and Stephanie Smith, First Curve Apothecary

Community herbalist Alex Williams and social worker Stephanie Smith are the people behind First Curve Apothecary. Their apothecary was born out of a deep curiosity and reverence for the plants and fungi of their home, the Great Lakes bioregion. The name First Curve originated from the first batch of bitters made years ago for their friends and family, and ever since they have been developing remedies to support their community. The herbs and mushrooms featured in their products are either locally sourced, organically grown, or ethically wildcrafted. Their mission is to craft products that draw people into their bodies to empower people to take ownership of their own health.
